Since the start of the year, visitors to the craft & design's website have been voting for the designer maker of their choice, in the 2009 'Craft & Design Selected Awards', sponsored by the craft&deisgn Magazine.
Feltmaker Emma Jackson is delighted to have won Gold in the Textiles category of the 2009 Craft & Design Selected Awards.
Based in Kings Heath, Birmingham Emma works with wool fibres to form felted sculptural and textured fashion accessories and interior textiles. Inspired by organic forms & patterns her work has distinctive colours, striking shapes and exquisite textures.
Using her design label Silversoles, Emma creates scarves, bags, corsages, and interior textiles including cushions and wall peices.
